Softly blow lightly O twilight breeze/ Scarcely bend slightly O silver trees:
Donald Jeffrey Hayes .... "Nocturne"
The whole poem
Nocturne
Softly blow lightly
O twilight breeze
Scarcely bend slightly
O silver trees:
Night glides slowly down hill . . down stream
Bringing a myriad star-twinkling dream. . . . .
Softly blow lightly
O twilight breeze
Scarcely bend slightly
O silver trees:
Night will spill sleep in your day weary eye
While a soft yellow moon steals down the sky. . . .
Softly blow
Scarcely bend
So . . . . !
Lullaby. . . . . . . .

The dogs got me up at 2:00 in the morning to go outside. This is the view off of my back porch.
The same sky 10 hours earlier .( I really like clouds! )
I put off buying cat treats until yesterday evening. Unfortunately I went out to the barn yesterday afternoon. That meant explaining to Barncat that there would be no treats yet again but that was her fault because she got into the treats and ate a whole week's worth one night. She was not happy.
Not happy at all. Juice was real happy to see me!
Amos was happy to see me! ( Ears at 10 o'clock and 2:00 o’clock is the tell - that's the universal mule signal for” Happy to see you! Got any treats?” This also works for donkeys)
Penny was happy to see me.
Sometimes it's all noses
They've been having a busy day out in the pasture.
Hey everybody! It's Fiesta Time!
“Fiesta Time Hollyhock”
These are true dwarfs. And they’re rust resistant. And beautiful! Perfect hollyhock.
Sometimes you just look down and there's the perfect picture-
That's all I got room for- thanks for dropping by!
Wasn't Jenny glad to see you?
Oh, and did I miss the Rapture?
Juice sez if you got teh curry comb and brush yer good.
