Sandy the fireworks are hailin’ over Little Eden tonight,/ Forcin’ a light into all those stoned-out faces left stranded on this Fourth of July
Bruce Springsteen- 4th of July, Asbury Park (Sandy)
I remember buying the “Born to Run “ album the day I heard the single . Then carrying it over to all my friend’s houses so they could listen. It’s much easier to share music these days!
The Hollies did a great cover -

I had some interesting pictures to share. In another day these lilies will fade.
Calla lilly! ,”Flame” is the cultivar
Gladiolus!
Some mutant Gerbera Daisy. Called “Gerbs” in the greenhouse. It's a funny word.” Did you water the gerbs?”
Coneflower - transforming/transformed
The striation appears machine made.
Wild Bergamot - Monarda. Bee Balm. The pale pink, lavender color is wonderful.
They’re pretty complicated!
Bee crack!
There is a row of cement fence posts on the boundry of a local park. I can’t imagine their age .
I’m glad someone decided to leave them alone.Huck sat with me while I was putting this together. Don't let the open eye fool you. He was snoring.
That's all I got room for - thanks for dropping by!
4th of July, Asbury Park (Sandy) is one of my favorite songs by the Boss and I always loved this line, especially the way he delivers it: Sandy, that waitress I was seeing lost her desire for me.
On another whimsical note, Wilco's Jeff Tweedy at age 8 recorded the Born to Run album on a cassette and told his classmates it was him on the recording. Story in the link.
